Terms of Use
Last updated 20 October 2026
These terms apply to the TheMedSol apps (MedControl, MedMonitor and MedAccess), the TheMedSol organisation portal and this website (together, "TheMedSol"), provided by The Med Sol LLC ("we", "us"). By using TheMedSol you agree to them. If you use it on behalf of an organisation, you agree for that organisation.
If your organisation has signed a customer agreement or order form with us, that document takes precedence over these terms wherever the two differ.
Training only, not for clinical use
TheMedSol is simulation software for education and training. It shows simulated patient values. It is not a medical device and must not be used to diagnose, monitor or treat real patients, or to make any clinical decision.
Accounts and licences
- TheMedSol is licensed to organisations. Each licence sets a term and how many users and devices may be used. We grant your organisation a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use TheMedSol within those limits during the licence term.
- Your organisation's administrators create and manage user accounts and devices, and are responsible for who has access.
- Keep your password and enrollment codes private, and tell us promptly if you think an account is compromised.
- When a licence ends or is not renewed, the apps stop working once their offline grace period has passed.
Fees
Fees, payment terms and renewal are set out in your organisation's order form. Fees are not refundable unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- enter real patient information into the apps;
- share accounts, or go beyond the users and devices your licence allows;
- copy, resell, reverse engineer or work around the licence checks in TheMedSol, except where the law allows it;
- interfere with or try to gain unauthorised access to our servers or other customers' data;
- use TheMedSol in breach of any law.
Your content
Content your organisation adds, such as scenarios, stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide TheMedSol to you. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
Our software
TheMedSol, including the apps, the portal, the built-in scenarios and rhythms, and its design, belongs to The Med Sol LLCand its licensors. These terms do not transfer any ownership to you.
Availability and changes
We work to keep TheMedSol available and may update it to fix problems or improve it. The apps run on the local network and keep working offline for a limited time, but the portal and sign-in need our server. We do not promise uninterrupted service.
Suspension and ending
We may suspend or end access if these terms are seriously broken, or if a licence expires or is not paid. Your organisation can stop using TheMedSol at any time. Sections that by their nature should continue (such as ownership, disclaimers and limits of liability) continue after access ends.
Disclaimer
TheMedSol is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of the simulated physiology.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, The Med Sol LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or loss of data or profits, and our total liability is limited to the fees your organisation paid for TheMedSol in the 12 months before the claim.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, and disputes go to the courts located in Wyoming. The same terms apply to all customers, wherever they are based, except where the law of your country gives you rights that cannot be waived.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top and, for significant changes, tell organisation administrators by email before they take effect. Continuing to use TheMedSol after that means you accept the new terms.
